Microgrid Flex includes advanced software tools enabling standardized designs and ongoing system optimization. EcoStruxure Microgrid Advisor and Microgrid Operation work together to control, forecast, track, and optimize energy resources.

Microgrid Advisor is a cloud-based energy management system enabling dynamic monitoring, dispatch & control of onsite energy resources to optimize energy costs and green energy consumption that can automatically forecast and optimize when to consume, produce, and store energy.

Microgrid Flex includes advanced software tools enabling standardized designs and ongoing system optimization. EcoStruxure Microgrid Advisor and Microgrid Operation work together to control, forecast, track, and optimize energy resources.

EcoStruxure Microgrid Advisor provided as a Data-as-a-service (DaaS) platform, enables stored and secured dispatch of onsite DERs and data publishing to Energy Management/ Optimization System (AutoGrid).

Energy Control Center
The ECC is a single intelligent, pre-engineered, and configurable switchboard that interconnects your system's distributed energy resources electrically. Its advanced hardware connects all of your DERs to your facility and systems, allowing for improved electrical control and maintenance.

Grid
Working alongside the grid, microgrids can provide backup power during grid outages and help to reduce energy costs by integrating renewable energy sources.

Solar
Microgrid Flex is designed and pretested to integrate and work with on-site solar generation systems requiring less than or equal to 1.5 MW and the system is scalable to integrate solar at later date if needed. In addition, there are specific PV inverter manufacturers that Microgrid Flex is designed work with.

Generator
Microgrid Flex includes standardized architecture that can work with onsite backup generation to leverage for additional resilience. Systems with one generator are candidates for a Microgrid Flex system.

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
Schneider Electric BESS is a fully self-contained solution built upon a flexible, scalable, and highly efficient architecture delivering flexibility, helping to minimize energy costs and maximize renewable energy. The BESS leverages onsite generation sources to optimize the entire system, delivering energy and cost savings while maximizing usage of renewables.
